How to evaluate if DMH/ hypo can be applied in my cooling system?
Using a structured approach, IMCHLO works with the customer to determine whether the DMH approach is an option. This is done via the following steps:
- Understanding your goals and making them clear via KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Perform a MOC (Mechanical, Operational and Chemical) audit of the cooling system.
- Focus on the three top goals (KPIs) and make them SMART (Specific, Measurable, Acceptable, Realistic and Time-bound).
- Determine in advance for each KPI when it will be considered success, neutral or failure.
- Financial quantification of “success” for each KPI.
- Based on the above steps, estimate what the returns/ investments would be of the DMH approach.
- If the previous step is evaluated positively, draw up a site-specific validation protocol.
- Execute an on-site validation using the validation protocol as a manual.
